On April 17, 2013, an official delegation from Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences and Kymenlaakso University of Applied Sciences, Finland, visited St. Petersburg State Polytechnical University in order to discuss plans for cooperation in the framework of agreements between universities.

On May 15, 2013 St. Petersburg State Polytechnic University and the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots living abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo) signed an agreement on cooperation.

From March 31 to April 7, 2013 at the SPbSPU was held an international student conference "Achievements and Challenges in Modern Energy. Innovative solutions".

SPbSPU offers International Master Degree programmes taught in English in the field of Civil Engineering, Energy Technology, Intelligent Systems and Management.

In the period from April, 23 to 26, 2013 SPbSPU visited by an official delegation of the University of Wilhelm Leibniz (Leibniz Universität Hannover (LUH)).

From April, 10 till 14, 2013 in Geneva (Switzerland) hosted the 41th International Exhibition "Inventions. Geneva 2013."

On April 9, 2013 the St.Petersburg State Polytechnic University was visited by representative delegation of the  Federal Land of Bavaria (Landtag) Government and Fund of Hans Zaydel, Germany.

SPbSPU continues to accept applications for participation in the modules of International Polytechnical Summer School 2013.

From March, 16 till 24, 2013 The delegation of SPbSPU visited the university’s partners in South Korea.
