Dmitry G. Arseniev, DSc, Professor, graduated from the Physical and mechanical Faculty of the Leningrad Polytechnical Institute, the Department "Mechanical Engineering and Control" in 1986. In 1999 he received Doctor of Engineering Sciences Degree. Since 1988 Dmitry Arseniev is at teaching work, in 1998 he became a professor. Since 1996 he took up the post of Director of the Institute of International Educational Programs SPbSPU.

Today Dmitry Arseniev is the Research Director of the SPbSPU Scientific Innovation Institute «Mathematical Modeling and Intelligent Control Systems». Since 2003 – Vice-Rector of the University is in charge of international activities and external economic relations.

Area of scientific interests of Dmitry G. Arseniev covers the adaptive numerical mathematics and mechanics. He is author of over 200 scientific publications and six monographs. Dmitry Arseniev - Full Member of International Academy of Higher Education, the St. Petersburg Engineering Academy, Member of the scientific advisory board for the physics and applied mechanics Russian Ministry of Education. 
 

Alexey I. Borovkov graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Mechanics of the Leningrad Polytechnical Institute, specializing in Dynamics and Strength of Machines in 1978. Alexey I. Borovkov defended his thesis in 1985 and became a professor in 2001. In the period 2001-2010 - Director of Engineering design and engineering analysis GIVK. In 2002-2010 - Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Physics and Mechanics. In 2007-2010 - Director for Research and Innovation Institute of Materials and Technology. From October 2010 to May 2011 - Executive Director of the Joint Scientific and Technological Institute, Vice-Rector for perspective projects.

Area of scientific interests of Alexey I. Borovkov is computational mechanics and computer engineering. He is a Member and correspondent of International Higher Education Academy of Sciences (IHEAS), also he is the author of more than 100 scientific papers and has prepared 6 candidates of sciences. Since 1994 Alexey I. Borovkov is a Member of the Educational and methodical Council Presidium "Journal of Applied Mechanics" and since 2010 he is Deputy Head of the Council.

Vladimir V. Gloukhov graduated from the Leningrad Polytechnical Institute in 1970 and has received his Doctor of Engineering Sciences Degree (Advanced Doctorship Degree) in 1981. He chairs the Department of Economics and Management for Technologies and Materials since 1988. From 1995 to September 2011 - took the post of Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Polytechnical University; in September 2011 - was appointed Vice-Rector for administrative and economic activity.

Professor Vladimir V. Gloukhov is a Member of International Academy for Technological Cybernetics, International Academy for Informatisation and is the author of over 300 published papers, books and monographs.

Dmitry Y. Raychuk, PhD, graduated from the Physical and Metallurgy Faculty of the Leningrad Polytechnical University in 1983. In 1987 he received his PhD degree from Leningrad Polytechnical University. In 1987-2002 years worked as an assistant, head of International Affairs, Vice-rector for Development of North-West Correspondence Technical University. In 1995-1996 he studied in Germany and Italy in the field of "Management". Trained in the United States. In 2002 he was appointed Director of consulting company. From 2006 to 2011 - Governor's Advisor on education of the Tver region. In 2011 he was appointed Director of the department of scientific and organizational activity of the SPbSPU; in September 2011 - Vice-Rector for scientific activity.

Alexander V. Rechinsky graduated from the Computer science faculty of the Leningrad Polytechnical institute, department "Information and Control Systems" in 1989. Second Higher education in the field of “Management” in 1999. In 2002 he got his PhD Degree. Since 1991 A.V. Rechinskiy works with the teaching staff, in 2002 he became the head of Retraining faculty. Since 2004  he was appointed the head Director of the Institute of State Management and Informatisation of SPbSPU. Since 2007 he is the Vice-Rector of SPbSPU.

Area of scientific interests of A.V. Rechinskiy covers Databases control systems, Management of the personnel.

Sergey V. Romanov, Ph.D., director of Research and educational center "Energy Research", winner of the St.Petersburg Government Prize for his outstanding achievements in the field of higher and secondary professional education on the subject "Development of innovative activity in educational institution" in 2009. In 1977 graduated from the electromechanical department of the Leningrad Polytechnical Institute. In 1987, working in the department, defended his thesis. From 1998 to 2004 he worked on senior positions of government and private enterprises including the position of Vice-Director of State Center for Management and Marketing "Progress". Studied in Germany in Bildungswerk der Baden-Wurttembergischen Wirtschaft e.V. on specialty "Strategic Management". Since February 2004, Head of SPbSPU Strategic Planning and Development Office. In September 2011 he was appointed Vice-Rector for administrative services and construction.

Professional interests - energy-saving technologies and renewable energy. 
 

Valery G. Silin graduated from the Leningrad Military Artillery Academy in 1976. Till 1997 he held high posts in USSR and Russian Federation Army Forces. Since 1997 works in St.Petersburg State Polytechnical University. In 2003 he was appointed to the post of Vice-Rector for safety and security.

Vladimir K. Slastenko, Ph.D., Honored Builder of Russia. Graduated from Kazakh Polytechnic Institute in Alma-Ata, a civil engineer (1978). Worked as a foreman, work superintendent, senior work superintendent at the construction of flood protection installations in Leningrad. 1987-1990 - Chief Engineer, Head of the "Glavleningradstroy" system. Since 1990 he has been working at the Polytechnical Institute named after Mikhail Kalinin as Vice-rector for capital construction. He has a number of government awards.

Michael V. Lopatin Ph.D., Associate professor. In 1974 he graduated from the Faculty of Radio Electronics of the Leningrad Polytechnical Institute department of "Information and Control Systems". Since 1977 M.V. Lopatin works with the teaching staff. In 1981 he defended his thesis on the scientific degree of candidate of economic sciences. Since 1991 - Professor, Head of "Strategic Management" department of SPbSPU. From 2005 to 2011 was director of the St.Petersburg College of informatization and Control. In February 2012 he was appointed to the post of Vice-rector for secondary professional education.

M.V. Lopatin - the author of over 125 scientific publications and 3 monographs. He was elected a member of the International Informatization Academy and other academies. Area of professional interests - human resource management, the efficiency of administrative work.
